Singapore Opens Vaccinated Travel Lanes with Germany and Brunei

Singapore has announced the launch of its first vaccinated travel lanes with Germany and Brunei beginning Sept. 8. Travelers departing from Germany or Brunei who have received all recommended doses of a WHO-approved vaccine can enter Singapore without being subject to quarantine. However, according to an announcement from Singapore’s COVID-19 multi-ministry task force, fully vaccinated travelers from these countries must still have multiple COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction tests.

South African Airways has confirmed that it will resume services Thursday, Sept. 23. In its initial restart phase, the carrier says it will operate flights from Johannesburg to Cape Town, Accra, Kinshasa, Harare, Lusaka and Maputo.
