Oneworld Airlines Pledge Use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel

The 14 member airlines of the Oneworld Alliance have pledged their support for the ambition statement of World Economic Forum Clean Skies for Tomorrow Coalition to commit to a 10 percent use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) by 2030. The alliance members have all previously committed to reach net zero emissions by 2050. Now the carriers are among the 60 signatories that have backed the coalition’s ambition statement.

Sixt Plans Autonomous “Robotaxi” in Munich

German car rental and ride-hailing company Sixt has announced a collaboration with Intel subsidiary Mobileye to pilot a new driverless “robotaxi” service in Munich next year. The autonomous ride-hailing service is set to launch in 2022, with plans to scale the service across Germany and other European countries later this decade. The MoovitAV and Sixt-branded vehicles will use the Mobileye Drive integrated self-driving system.

DOJ Seeks to Block American-JetBlue Alliance
