United Plans More Than 3,500 Daily Domestic Flights in December

In response to surging demand, United Airlines has announced a domestic winter schedule that is the biggest since March 2020. The airline says it plans to offer more than 3,500 daily domestic flights in December, which puts the carrier’s schedule at 91 percent of its domestic capacity compared to 2019. The airline says holiday travel flight searches on united.com and the airline’s app are up even compared to pre-pandemic levels, rising 16 percent over the same period in 2019.
