It helps me understand the roles and needs of catering partners, not to mention better anticipate the needs and questions of rental clients. I have a wonderful support system at the museum and in the local Charlotte NACE Chapter that has encouraged me that I can be a working mother with this dual support system behind me.

How long have you been a member of NACE? What drew you to NACE? I would encourage members of the catering and events industry to take a look at their marketing collateral, vendor partners, and sales and operations teams with a critical eye – is the LGBTQIA community represented?
