She worked on a joint venture with UNDP and ENPI on a Landscape Character and Risk Assessment project, where she engaged with stakeholders and held training seminars in sustainable land assessment. From the desert, she went to North Carolina where she worked for AAA as a Travel Agent, giving her a different look at tourism sales.
