Q: How long have you been a member of NACE? What drew you to NACE?

A: Just joined last month because I have been looking for a more intentional way to network with my community of vendors.

Q: What do you think people can do this Black History Month to raise awareness about important issues that impact the Black community in the catering and events industry?

A: I think people can evaluate their personal biases and privileges. Just understanding where you are in truth is a good start. We can also celebrate black accomplishments large and small and take part in a bit of black history and/or culture wherever we can find it.
