Shanghai Mansion Boutique Hotel, Bangkok, has announced the opening of its new Cotton Ballroom. Located on the top floor of the Chinatown hotel, the colonial-style ballroom features a large domed roof and a grand stairway leading up to a mezzanine level balcony, overlooking the ballroom. Behind the mezzanine balcony is a private waiting room for VIP guests to relax before entering the event.
With a capacity of 300-350 persons, the new ballroom is available for weddings, Chinese banquets, cocktail parties, business meetings or seminars. It comes equipped with a 200-inch, remote control projector screen, surround sound system, a lighting system with more than 100 lighting combinations and two giant spotlights, as well as a bar.
“Cotton Ballroom is uniquely designed to accompany a wide range of events, whether they are weddings, parties, fashion shows, or corporate events,” said Khun Lily Udomkhunnatum, Managing Director of hotel’s owner, the Burasari Group. “We have the beautiful balcony on stage which makes for a most grand entrance for wedding parties and fashion shows. For formal dinners we have magnificent chandeliers hanging from the high domed ceiling. The room itself and its facilities are ideal for every kind of occasion.”
