Thailand is forging ahead with its annual travel trade show - Thailand Travel Mart Plus the Greater Mekong Sub-region (TTM+) - in June.
This year’s show - scheduled for 3-7 June - would be crucial as Thailand takes measures to counter a series of recent developments that have taken a toll on the country’s buoyant tourism sector.
Organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and the Thai tourism industry, TTM+ is expecting 300 delegate buyers. According to the show’s website (www.thailandtravelmartplus.com), applications for participation by buyers can be submitted via this platform or through TAT’s overseas offices.
This year’s show is expected to see 400 exhibitor booths. A briefing for buyers and sellers, together with on-site appointments between operators and patrons, will be arranged on the opening day at Central World’s Bangkok Convention Centre.
The last four days of the event will take place at the Challenger Hall, Mueang Thong Thani Impact Arena Exhibition and Convention Centre.
