WHAT’S NEW IN QATAR – DISCOVER QATAR

IN THE SPIRIT OF OMOTENASHI – HOTEL OKURA AMSTERDAM

This year, Hotel Okura Amsterdam will celebrate its golden jubilee and 50 years of age-old Japanese traditions, combined with modern Western luxury. BEEKEEPING AT ULUSABA – VIRGIN LIMITED EDITION

The passionate beekeepers of Ulusaba resort in the Sabi Sand Reserve have been nurturing their African Honey Bee communities and their habitats as a way of protecting trees from the impact of elephants. The hives are positioned to prevent the elephants from causing damage to the bark which can lead to the death of the trees. The project follows in the footsteps of similar schemes in other areas and has already seen great success. In the two years since their introduction, the bee population has grown to over 1,000 strong and generates an impressive honey harvest.


SAILING & STAND UP PADDLEBOARDING – UPPER ENGADIN VALLEY LAKES

Combining soaring mountain scenery and the bluest of lakes, the Engadin valley and St Moritz is the perfect summer playground. Badrutt’s Palace offers guests the use of its sailing boats and paddleboards so they can experience first-hand the tranquillity of the stunning surroundings. Take advantage of the perfect sailing conditions to build on your nautical skills, or choose a relaxing paddle on the gentle, early morning waters.
