Spaces at The Spine to host micebook Ventures22

Ventures22, a new events concept from micebook, is on a mission to transform the world of business events.

Spaces at The Spine, Liverpool's newest event destination housed within the Royal College of Physicians' northern home, The Spine, has been chosen to host the very first micebook Ventures22. micebook is a digital hub for #eventprofs worldwide to source destination content, suppliers and inspiration. The Ventures22 conference will take place 31st October – 2nd November.

Ventures22, a new events concept from micebook, is on a mission to transform the world of business events. With around 100 participants, the event seeks to inspire action from the movers and shakers in the UK events industry and beyond on some of the most burning environmental topics of our time.

The conference will feature discussions on climate change, social future, equality, diversity and inclusion. The three-day event will also rotate around ReBuilding Better, focusing on how the MICE sector can evolve through Inspiration, Education and Activation and add real value to event delegates via purposeful experiences.

Ventures22 is specifically for senior management, influencers, decision-makers and people who are interested in exploring, sharing ideas and listening to experts from either side of the industry. It is hoped it will also open the door to courageous new models for optimism, responsible growth, and sustainable success.

As well as hosting three action-packed days full of content and discussion, Spaces at The Spine will also create an entirely meat-free menu throughout the event. Organisers will also use more sustainable transport options with hybrid vehicles, in partnership with Arriva, and carry out a full CO2e measurement from start to finish.

micebook’s Expedition Lead, Chris McQue, says: “Our choice of location is a prime example of our aim to inspire people, connect them, and show them something real. Spaces at The Spine has been designed to incorporate wellbeing-focused, sustainable concepts, and has been recognised as one of the ‘healthiest’ in the UK.”

Spaces at The Spine’s Head of Commercial Events, Natacha Allen adds: “We can’t think of an event more aligned to our ethos at Spaces at The Spine, than Ventures22.

“Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, and our day-to-day business operations reflect our initiatives to minimise our impact on the environment. The venue is a fantastic example of innovation for the whole events industry.

“We are delighted to host the very first Ventures22 at a time when conscious discussion on environmental impact is not only welcomed, but needed.”
