Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts will showcase its diverse and growing MICE in Abu Dhabi.
The Group recorded a 15% increase in group room nights for 2012 compared to 2011, capitalising on the strength of its eight properties in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The top source markets indicated include UAE, UK, USA, Saudi Arabia, Germany and Switzerland. The greatest growth in business for the Dubai hotels has been from Saudi Arabia, Russia and South Africa, while for Abu Dhabi from UAE, UK, and United States.
Christian Pertl, Vice President of Sales and Marketing in Dubai & MEASA, Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, said, “We have witnessed an increase in corporate and meetings business. This has been driven by implementing new processes such as the instant response to enquiries and addition of two new properties to the UAE portfolio, Jumeirah at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi and Jumeirah Creekside in Dubai.”
In late Spring 2013 Jumeirah expects to open Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel in Kuwait, which has extensive meeting and conference facilities.
