Hotel Data Conference sold out for first time since 2019

HDC will feature 92 speakers across five general sessions, 12 breakout panel sessions, 17 “data dash” sessions and six advanced level “data dive” discussions.

NASHVILLE – The 14th Annual Hotel Data Conference, presented by IDeaS, has sold out for the first time since 2019 with 712 registered attendees for the event on 10-12 August at the Omni Nashville Hotel. Co-hosted by STR and Hotel News Now, HDC had sold out six years in a row prior to the pandemic.

“HDC returning to capacity status is another indicator of the hotel industry’s recovery,” said Amanda Hite, STR president. “Our conference caters to a segment of the industry that was among the most affected in terms of budget and resources. Professionals from this segment have relied upon data to aid in the recovery, and they understand the need for new perspectives as we approach the seasonal transition from leisure to corporate demand amid a time of economic uncertainty. We are proud to deliver those perspectives through the agenda we have built and the content we will deliver.”

HDC will feature 92 speakers across five general sessions, 12 breakout panel sessions, 17 “data dash” sessions and six advanced level “data dive” discussions. Those sessions combine to cover the latest around topics such as business travel, forecasting, group business, guest evolution, inflation and other macroeconomic indicators, labor challenges, market leaders, OTA relationships, pipeline, and profit optimization.

In addition to top presenters from STR and HNN, featured panelists and presenters during general sessions include: Erika Alexander (Marriott International), James Carroll (Crestline Hotels & Resorts), Christine Duffy (Carnival Cruise Line), Sourav Ghosh (Host Hotels & Resorts), Michelle Horn (Delta Air Lines), Mitch Patel (Vision Hospitality Group), Adam Sacks (Tourism Economics) and Peter Strebel (Omni Hotels & Resorts).
