House of Blues

A cool warehouse-style retreat on the Strip with reimagined vibes and views from every seat in the house? That sounds like the enticing $4.5 million renovation at House of Blues Restaurant & Bar at Mandalay Bay. The venue has spared no expense on redefining itself.

The industrial framework of this iconic space blends the contemporary architecture of corrugated metal, aged steel, wood millwork, brick walls, riveted metal panels, and a copper still. While at the front, a new indoor patio gives diners a view of the resort’s gaming floor. “The refresh features an open concept design with a distillery vibe and a stage for live music. The venue has retained the tradition of adorning the walls with art from the House of Blues folk art collection. The big stage remains, providing a rich platform for live music and amazing views, while a new large, rectangular bar anchors the space,” shares Jamie Clark, with House of Blues & Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.

Jamie adds, “The restaurant can accommodate up to 400 guests for a private reception. For more intimate gatherings, the private dining space in New Orleans delivers, and the semi-private Napoleon Deck is perfect for receptions of 25-150 or seated dinners of 20-75. The adjoining Music Hall and B-Side Lounge allows for configurations that increase the reception capacity anywhere from 700 to up to 2,500.” Interested in The House of Blues for your next event?
