Thailand Travel Mart Plus (TTM+) will move to Chiang Mai in 2016, for the first time in the show’s 15-year history. The event has always previously been held in Bangkok, but will be relocated to the Chiang Mai International Exhibition & Convention Centre (CMECC) next year.

Thailand has embarked on a new initiative aimed at improving the quality of its MICE venues. Launched by the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), the Thailand MICE Venue Standard (TMVS) 2015-2020 will measure the quality of the country’s conference facilities.

The XWORK app. Indonesian hotel group Archipelago International has partnered with XWORK, a booking app for meeting rooms. Using the app, customers will be able to book meeting spaces at Archipelago hotels in Jakarta via their smartphone.
