Gen Z, those born in the late 90s and early 2000s, haven’t yet grasped the benefits of hospitality jobs and business. “They need to be included in the conversation and engaged with the tourism industry to develop an understanding of the value of travel and tourism,” according to a recent Destinations International (DI) and Longwoods International survey, National Resident Sentiment Towards Tourism.
