Meeting planners say face-to-face gatherings are expected to dominate the 2022 meetings and events landscape, as in-person meetings are making a comeback after two years in the doldrums. Recent surveys show an uptick in optimism among meeting planning professionals. In November, the Fall 2021 Meetings Outlook from Meeting Professionals International found nearly two thirds of respondents (64 percent) anticipate favorable live attendance over the next 12 months.
