Business-class passengers, Delta One travelers, and high-tier cardholders can access the stunning new LATAM Lounge at Santiago Airport

In great news for business-class passengers and frequent flyers on LATAM—including Delta One travelers and high-tier cardholders—the airline has a gorgeous new complex at its Chilean hub in Santiago’s Terminal 2. The LATAM Lounge focuses on Latin American style and design, with work from 21 artists including Ximena Guzmán, Sofía Donovan and Percy Zorrilla.

The space is split into three areas: the Signature Lounge for business-class passengers or frequent flyers including Delta Diamond Medallion; the Premium Lounge for frequent flyers including Platinum Medallion; and the World Member Lounge for Santander bank World Member customers. Featuring high ceilings around a beautiful bar area, the design is softened by hanging bead-style lampshades, and features a palette of modern browns, golds and tans that is both relaxing and sleek. The lounge offers an array of seating choices, including an occasional table for typing comfortably on a laptop, watching a program on a tablet, or enjoying a snack from the buffet.

If you have a longer layover or just need a nap, sleeping rooms are available, while those who like a co-working environment around a large table with multiple power outlets are served well, too. Sustainability is another focus, with the airline promising that 80 percent of the electricity used for its operation will be green, its carbon footprint will be offset by South American ecosystem conservation projects, and recycling and reuse will be promoted throughout the lounge.
