Tomorrow’s Air and European Travel Commission join forces for climate-conscious travel

A partnership for sustainable events and climate education in European tourism

The European Travel Commission (ETC) is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Tomorrow’s Air, a brand of the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), dedicated to inspiring and educating the global travel collective about climate-conscious travel solutions. Tomorrow’s Air is committed to cleaning carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and permanently storing it, fostering a greener future for the travel industry. This partnership aims to increase awareness of climate-conscious travel among European travel stakeholders and support innovations in climate technology.

Key objectives of the partnership

The Tomorrow’s Air – ETC Sustainable Events & Education Partnership is built on two primary objectives:

1. Support ETC Sustainable Events Goals: Tomorrow’s Air will work hand in hand with ETC to advance sustainable events that prioritise climate-conscious initiatives. This will include integrating support for climate technology solutions like carbon removal with permanent storage.
2. Educate European Tourism Stakeholders and Travellers: Together, Tomorrow’s Air and ETC aim to educate the European tourism industry and guests about climate-conscious travel. By fostering awareness of the benefits of integrating climate technology into travel strategies, we hope to encourage a significant positive impact on the environment.

Empowering event delegates for climate action

As part of the partnership, Tomorrow’s Air will offer ETC event delegates a custom payment link to purchase a 25 Euro package every time they register for an ETC event. This package includes engaging education on climate-conscious travel and innovations in climate technology, such as carbon removal with permanent storage. For every delegate who chooses to purchase this package, ETC will match their payment with an additional 25 Euro contribution. The payments made by delegates and matched by ETC will contribute towards the removal and permanent storage of 52 kilograms of carbon dioxide.

By engaging European travel businesses and travellers, fostering innovation in climate technology, and supporting sustainable events, we aim to create a brighter, greener future for the travel industry.
