Team AIME are a bunch of all-stars! Today we are thrilled to introduce you to Katrina Dawson, get to know her in our latest ‘Team Behind the Screens’ series below.

Why do you love events?
I love the chaos and fun that comes with working in the event industry and the satisfaction across the whole team when you deliver the outcome from all that chaos. I thrive off relationship building and it’s such an integral part of that industry. The people you meet along the way make the experience completely worthwhile every time.

What is your favourite destination in the world?
I can only pick one! Oh my, it would have to be New York. That city stole my heart when I first visited there 30 years ago and every time since. It’s been 4 years since I have been back and can’t wait to visit again, I❤️NYC!

What is the last book you read?
As a new mum, time hasn’t really allowed me the luxury of reading a good book without falling asleep lol. Prior to my little man arriving, I prepared by reading ‘the first six weeks’ and I swear by it!

What three words best describe you?
Organised, determined and caring.

What have you learnt this year?
Slow down! We all live in such a fast-paced world and the last 12 months has really taught me to slow down and appreciate everything and everyone around me. You can’t control everything, and for that I am grateful.
